I want to send all my prayers, condolences and hugs to the family. I was lucky to know her and be invited to the family parties over the years. She made me laugh and from the moment I met her I saw where the family shared Tita Estela's spirit. She had a huge heart and a smile of grace. My heart and thoughts goes to the Sacuavo family. I've known them for many many years. The Sacuavo's door was always open to us kids and their generousity and care for all of us will never be forgotten. We had many ,many great memories in the Sacuavo house and that was because we were allowed to be kids, be ourselves whenever we were there. Thank You Estelle for being a mother figure to all, allowing us to take over your house many, many times without batting an eye. Thank you for providing and caring about us no matter how crazy things got!!! We are all blessed for having someone like Estelle and the whole Sacuavo family as part of our lives. New years, Christmas,Birthdays, Weddings was a very good reason to get together at the Sacuevos. Estella welcomed everyone to her home with open arms, fed the hungry neighbourhood kids with good food (my boys loved it), loved them and provided a happy atmosphere.Thank you Estella for being such a great ,generous and kind lady.You will always be fondly remembered with a very special place in my heart. 23 years ago she welcomed me into her home just because I was her daughters' friend. I have known Estella for so long and she never once, asked me for a single thing. We had a lot of laughs, enjoyable talks, and if she were sitting beside me at Jeanna's house on Christmas Eve, I would thank her. I would thank her for bringing 6 amazing children into this world for us to know and for her to live on through them. She is in their DNA and when I look at any one of them I see her. I can't believe she's gone and I will miss her with every step I take. Love, Diane

The Sacuevo family had an open door policy, and I felt comfortable to use it any time I needed to, and still to this day I drop in, feeling welcome. I remember Christmas, many late nights with Janna and the sisters having fun upstairs. I remember playing around with Ms Sacuevo and poking fun with her, seeing her smile. Loving her accent when she asked if I wanted Punsit (and I watch her cringe when I wanted ketchup and soya sauce). I remember the trip to the USA. There as been many memories for me, and for others, who feel that the Sacuevo house is their second home and that Ms Sacuevo is our second mother, for this we all grieve and feel your pain. Your loss is our loss too, and your fond memories we hold dear as well. The last time I had a good laugh, a good hug and kiss on the cheek with Mother Sacuevo was at the Wedding of Royman. Our father called you home Estella too soon for us however, we have been blessed with all your love and teachings that we must now share just as you did with all of us. No doubt our Lord has called you home now as there is much for you to do. Continue guiding all of us Estella. We love and miss you very much and thank you for your love that you have shown all of us in your friendship family, a second mom to many of us and you will be deeply missed but, never forgotten. I would like to extend my sincerest and heart felt condolences to the whole Sacuevo family. My heart breaks from afar and know that I grieve alongside you from Toronto. My memories that I will treasure forever is as I noted upon entering Estella and Arnold's home as a young girl I was but, a stranger only once. Estella and Arnold welcomed me as one of their own children to their home and lives. I laughingly refer to myself as Sacuevo in training number 10 and I believe there must be at least 50-100 of us that passed through their home. We are a friendship family, we have shared many of our memories together as a friendship family and we will share your grief with you. Estella was a spirit that will live on through all of us. She was a woman of family, thus the large numbers in the friendship family. I will miss her smile and her laugh as it was always a joy to be around someone with that much love and you couldnt help but learn from her in that way.
