david idowu was a very good person he was friendly he was never bad we all hope you have a good live up there in heaven in lovin memory of david idowu rest in peace david ur gone but ur never ever gonna be forgotten

David look like a very nice kid... His sad story make me cry so much, because I am a mother and he looks like one of my kids.. It is very sad , I don't understand why authorities are not doing anything to stop this kind of juvenil criminals before they continuently growing.

I do know David. I’m a family friend who has watched David grow into a bright and honest person, who I know would have made something of himself, and continued to make his mum and dad proud. His life was snatched away from him for no valid reason. We all need to stand up and fight against knife and gun crime to prevent other families and friends feeling the indescribable paid we are all feeling right now. My payers and thought go out to his parents, who raised and looked after him for 14 years and had him taken from them in 1 minute. My heart goes out to his brothers I pray that you get strength to get through this. Once again people stop the violence. Stabbing and shooting is not the answer. Don't know David but just wanted to give you my condolences on this sad news. David looked and sounded such a wonderful boy and i'm truly sorry for your loss. The fact that he had made a speech about gangs giving up their weapons makes this story all the more heart-breaking. This culture has to stop before more and more of our children get taken from us. I did not know David by my deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. As a relative of Shakilus Townsend I understand what it is you are going through, there is no reason for the death of this young boy and from what I have read he had a promising future ahead of him. We need to speak out and take action so we can live with peace and mind and not have the fare of someone else we know and love being taken from us The Dyer and Townsend Family
