The feeling of knowing that these things happen, can't be described with words. I didn't know the couple, but I bet they were very happy together and wherever they are, are still together. It feels my heart with sorrow. If those thieves wanted to take the couple's belongings why kill them? I am sure that nothing is worth their lives, which will never be replaced. Those thieves don't deserve any type of considerations, I hope they get the punishment they deserve. Meanwhile, all I can do is wish for the families' comfort to get through this harsh times. My prayers are with you. I hope you find peace inside your hearts and think that while your children were alive, they had a fully life and were happy together

Ben and Catherine, I am so sorry your honeymoon ended like this. We too were on honeymoon at the time of this horrific incident; we married a week after you on 19th July. I'm so sorry for your families, we came home to cards and photos and I couldn't help but think how wrong it is that you didn't get a chance to do the same. Like Catherine, I am also training for my doctorate, though as a Clinical Psychologist. We will always remember you and hope that you find each other in a love that lasts for eternity. God bless, Sarah and Robert Leggett (Suffolk, UK).

I keep looking at your pictures unable to take my eyes off of your smiles. You both are beautifully in love. I hope you've found each other again and that you spend the rest of time experiencing weightless love together. It's not fair that this happened and it never will be. My condolences to your families for their incredible loss...

SUPERPOMBINHOS (Mig&Xab) 06/08/08

This tragedy has touched me in a way nothing else has. My hearts go out to their families and friends. At least they are together. For one to live without the other would have been devastating. I hope the families find the peace and serenity they will need in their lives.

Although I knew neither Catherine or Ben, this story made my heart break. My thoughts and prayers are with their families. Although it's hard to believe there is good in this world when you hear horrible stories like this, I guess the tiniest bit of comfort can be given knowing these two souls are in a better place now. Prayers and Best Wishes to all, John - Massachusetts, U.S.A.

I never knew this young couple but its the saddest story I have heard of for a long long time. I hope that the grieving families are helped by the knowledge that they are together for eternity. Ben and Catherine, no one can hurt them now and they are together forever, probably in a better world than the one they left. A world we shall all know in time.

I do not know Cathy or Ben, but I just wanted to express my deepest sympthany to them both and their families. I have cried and prayed for them, and am so deeply shocked at what has happened. The fact that this was so horrific, they were about to start a bigger journey together and had so much to live for. I hope that their families can take a tiny bit of comfort in their tributes. I wish they both now R.I.P. Sophie

I have shed so many tears for two lovely people, their family and friends that I have never met. I pray that those connected to Catherine and Ben may someday find solace and comfort in that Catherine and Ben had their two married weeks on their own together as they had intended. Rest In Peace Catherine and I pray for the best possible outcome for Ben. x
