Caroline was my deportment teacher at June Dally-Watkins. I went on to work with her on a few jobs with the Gordon Charles Agency. will never forget the first time I saw this gorgeous tall blonde creature, everything about her was perfect. The way she spoke, the way she carried herself.
I remember working with her on a few modeling jobs, she took me under her wing and helped me where she could as I was only 14 at the time.
The day her body was found, I was at a careers day with my High School class. She was supposed to be there speaking about the modeling industry. I remember being devastated that she was not there and wondered what happened.
I attended her memorial service run by our modeling agent - Gordon Charles. I recall it was raining but as soon as the service began, the sun came out. It was very moving. I always knew Gordon Wood was guilty. His body language was all wrong.
May you rest in peace now Caroline, now that justice has been served xxxx

So much speculation is here on this earth to what happened to you that night, only you know what truly happened, and the rest is just speculation and people's opinion...
As you can see on this site, so many people are hurt over you going as am I, so maybe now Caroline you might help all of us that are hurt and tarnished by these events to heal.
So many people are angry, hurt, upset, greiving, blaming, misinformed, opinionated,and judgemental over your passing.
Please everybody who knew Caroline respect that she is not here to tell of what really happened, you might judge from afar but in the end you don't really know what happened. Only Gordon knows if he is guilty and if so that is for him to live with forever, if he is not... what a tradgedy.....Gordon's family who are trying to accuse other people...stop... you know how it feels to be blamed when innocent, so why do it yourself.
Maybe you may have a correct result coming in the future, if that is true...
I prayer that everyone can move on to a happier place soon!!!
P.S if you really want to know what happened try and seek out a medium or whatever you believe in to find your real answer...

To Ariel, Jackie and Looking for Justice..yes Caroline would be horrified at your statements. Just think of the horror she went through before that convicted murderer in a rage stole her life forever. He is the reason for all our tears. There were NONE from him and he never ever once contacted the Byrne family after Caroline died.
Caroline can now finally rest in peace together with her beautiful mother. At last there is now finality to the anguish and torment that her true friends and family suffered in her loss. They know now what occurred to take her precious life away in seconds.
For all of us who really knew her all of her life and not those of just a few years knew she would never marry Gordon.. We knew and she reminded us that she sought the love and safety of her first and only true love. She had taken the path to go back to real happiness.
It must be difficult for Gordon's family to accept a unanimous decision, but that is the law. They really did not know Caroline all that well, as we all did. Our prayers go out to them to see the light and help them cope with reality.
Where do I start..Caroline its been a long time now, too long since you were here. I was lucky enough to have known you since I was very young. You came into mine and my families life such a happy and vibrant person. I looked up to you like a big sister.. everything that was beautiful and that defined the beautiful girl you were inspired me to become the person I am today...I know your little sister has also been inspired by you as her gentleness and calmness reminds me so much of you.
I always thought you would have the chance to grow into the beautiful woman you were becoming, and live a long and happy life. With you leaving so soon it has been a harsh reality for your family and your true friends. I suffered so greatly when I found that you had left, you were such a beautiful person.
I have found it so so difficult to believe that somebody could hurt you or even end your life so suddenly, you had everything to live for. Sometimes I would just choose to believe you were somewhere out in this world living your life. (that was easier for me). But the constant reminders throughout each year that has gone by jolts me to a harsh reality that not everybody has such a kind gentle heart like yourself and that your not here.
I know me, my family, your friends and especially your family miss you so greatly. The memories of you that happy ,beautiful, vibrant and talented girl will live on forever, and someday we will see you again.
I hope for you Caroline that now you can be in peace with your mother, and people can now move to a place of just remembering the happiness you gave to all of us.
Its time for you to fly home and leave this harsh reality that has hurt us all.

This is a site for Caroline's friends not murder gordons friends so first of all I want to tell you to PISS OFF and make your own site for gordon if you want. Secondly I saw Caroline 1 and a half weeks before Gordon killed her. She didn't want to be with him anymore and was happy that she had finally made her mind up of that. and she was happy that she had just gotten a promotion with June's modelling school. She had also told us about some of the dodgy thing Gordon was doing with Rene and that she suspected him of being Bi. We said Dump his ass. So don't go saying she was depressed because she wasn't she was entering a new and exciting stage of her life. Only Gordon snuffed it out. I hope roger ramjet gets what he deserves. And stay off this site anyone who thinks Gordon is innocent.HE'S A MURDERER!!!!

i just came on here and saw Caroline pictures and she looks like such an amazing girl, very pretty. To her friends and family who lost this lovely girl im so sorry, my heart is with you. Its not right to lose someone so close well before their time especially if someone else is at fault. We lost a close friend of ours called Ash she was 16 so innocent too she should still be here too but because of someone else she lost her life. Make sure you all stick together and do something for Caroline's memory it sounds like she deserves that. Best wishes to you all. XXX
Thats really interesting, because my sister saw her 1 week before her death and she said she wanted to Marry him...I never said she was depressed, SHE said she was depressed to the doctor! I guess her mother wasn't depressed either! Hey maybe the mother was really trying to leave Tony and he killed her....Now there is a conspiracy theory for you. Caroline was a lovely girl, but that doesn't mean she was murdered by anyone other than her own hand. This says a lot about society and the fact that people like you who have obviously read to many New Idea would rather believe that someone is murdered!!!!! SAD...you mustn't have known Caroline THAT well, she did NOT think Gordon was "bi" as you put it. I agree that she was a beautiful, caring, lovely girl and let me tell you that she would be HORRIFIED to know that Gordon has been convicted of her murder and so should everyone else. Caroline you did not know me, I was in your sisters Deanna's year at Camden High. I remember my first day in year 7, I was scared and didn't know anyone but you would always walk past with that friendly smile. You had a great reputation at School and deep down I wished I could have been just like you.I don't believe you comitted suicide, and I am glad your family can finally rest knowing you didn't comitt suicide. Along side Ariel who made the previous comment, I must agree...I knew Caroline for the majority of my life... I am not in anyway related to Gordon, but I too was plagued by Caroline after she died...I know in my heart and soul that it was her choice to die... I also know and agree that only very few people knew the real Caroline and the circus played out in the media is just to sell papers....
One day she will be able to rest in her own peace.. She was very private and I'm sure all the people who really knew and loved her throughout her life will be able to move on with a more peaceful life when this is all over..
For the anguish to those families who are involved in this inquest and directly involved in her life...one day we will know the answer to why she is no longer with us..........
Jackie - while I didn't personally know Caroline, I have been following this case very closely and cannot believe that Wood is responsible for her death. I am terribly afraid that an innocent man has been convicted of a crime that he didn't commit. During the trial there was very strong evidence that Caroline was battling another bout of severe depression and simply took her own life in a moment when she was unable to see beyond the black hole she was in. I suffer from depression and know exactly how overwhelming it can be... one minute you think you can continue to fight it, the next it just seems impossible to go on. The thought of an innocent man locked up for this keeps me awake at night. Perhaps you should contact the authorities and voice your concerns.....
Agree with Lauren on this one ... suicide is a very real possibility. In which case, there is an innocent man locked up for a absolutely nothing. A very disturbing thought.
You are all so sucked in by the media and celebrity of this whole thing....We were friends with Caroline and Gordon and there is no way that he killed her and i know that her spirit will be standing by him throughout his trial and he will be found innocent. 15 years agoI am no friend or relation of Gordon Wood's family despite your allegations - simply a concerned member of the public who has been following this case closely and am convinced that a disservice has been done to Gordon Wood. Andrew knows more than he is letting on and he should come clean. I sympathise with your loss and grief but can't accept that Wood is the true culprit here - the facts just don't add up.
