I met bill in 86 and as stated above always a kind word and support for others.bill and the guys would come see the dogs play and we became good friends after that riding motorcycles together.and partying together.we saw each other in london when femme fatale was touring there they tore the roof off sold out.Bill was very happy then. After they were dropped from MCA the partying increased dramaticly,i used to live next door and see him every day for a while but i couldnt keep up. we fell out of touch after that and i heard of many trajedies with people that he loved in his life.i have said many prayers over the years hoping he would have the strength to go on.i know he was a sensitive soul and took on alot of guilt for the things that went down in his life.I always hoped that someone could come to his rescue.Find peace and fogiveness for yourself Billy.Love You Man

Not only was Bill my friend of many many years, he was a kind & mellow soul. He never had a harsh word and always had a hug. I will never forget this man. Love you D 'Angelo and the D' Angelo family! (Donyale TX)

.........and we all shine on - like the moon and the stars and the sun !!! I know from many discussions with Bill he was so concerned that when life ended that was it - the end. My only consolation is that he found out I was right and that his spirit and soul lives on and is healing on the other side as he feels the love we send him with our thoughts and our happy memories as we listen to the music that he left us. Rock on my brother........till we meet again.

i worked wiyh Bill in 1986 in L.A. ,and later with Bobby at Jem Records .. both our bands played the whiskey, the roxy, and all the clubs , i remember going to their showcase for heir record deal, and how nervous he was ....we both played guitar and he always encouraged me ...he went through a phase were he told me he was now playing barefooted on stage ....he was so talented and his band should have been huge ...i renember seeing him on MTV (which was huge back then) ..and wen the music scene changed it was the death kneel to a lot of 80's bands unfairly..but its always better to be a "has been" then a "never was" ....and Bill at least , and more than the rest of us "WAS" ..rest in peace my friend Brendan

Bill was a very talented technical dude. Like someone said above, he was someone who's word is / was something you could count on. That is a rarity anywhere but especially in North Hollywood. I know Bill moved back to NM. Hadn't spoke to him for a while when I heard. A true rock'n'roller. 'God rest his soul.

Last time I hung w/Bill was 92 when he was in town for a holliday, and we stayed up all night at Dusty's listening to zep. My band 1-800 and Femme Fatale were all good bro's and we got to open for them in 89. He was a blast to hang with.

I always could count on Bill. He was my buddy. We had a lot of fun together. He was an intelligent, talented and great friend. He was not only an awesome guitar player but was excellent at computers. Bill and I got to know each other when he lived in North Hollywood, Ca., years ago. He has a great sense of humor and was very sharp and witty. He was one person that was always there for me when I was going through a hard time in my life. I was so sad to hear that Bill died. He was special to me and I will continue to miss him.
