With deepest sympathy Aunt Janice,Caroline, Elizabeth, Sally and all of Barry's siblings and friends. I never did meet my Uncle Barry in person although I feel that I knew quite a bit about him. Barry's sister, June, my mother, shared many stories and informed me about his personality, all of his great jokes and all the fun they had growing up on the farm and eventually moving to Sydney. I learned that he adored his family and had a great sense of humor. He served his country and was an outstanding violinist. I spoke to Uncle Barry within the last two months and he always had a smile within his voice and a joke to add during the conversation. To all of the Bryant family and his dear friends...remember all the good times and the great jokes as well because that is what he would want. Love, The Kral Family Christine, Bill & Sons Derek, Ryan and Brandon

My deepest sympathy to Aunt Janice, Belinda, Caroline, Elizabith and Sally. Barry Bryant was certainly a man who loved his wife, daughters, all of his family and his friends. Unfortunatly, I never did meet my Uncle because of the long distance living in the United States. I feel through his sister, June, my mother, that I learned quite a lot about him through the many stories she shared with me. She spoke of him quite often and talked about how smart, friendly, good-looking and funny he was. She shared many of his jokes with me and was proud that he served his country and was a great violinist. I did speak with him on the phone within the last two months and he always had a smile in his voice and a joke to share. He would laugh with every call and he was certainly a strong man. To all of his family and friends....remember the good times and his great sense of humor and all the love he had for you. Love, The Kral Family Christine, Bill & Sons, Derek, Ryan and Brandon

A great light in our lifes is gone but it's glow is everywhere-in family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. Barry, godfather and uncle you were the funiest man I ever met-a true king of one-liners,rhyming poetic humour and a jab in the ribs a wink of the eye all the way accross the ocean-I will cherish those memories as they have made life better for us all. Several years ago I painted a 90mm bust of a WW1 Lighthorseman and sent it to Barry-it was titled "Ron Bull" and the connection with his stories and sense of humour I thought was right on the mark. Barry often told me of his wonderful daughters Belinda,Caroline,Elizabeth and Sally and the joy they gave him and his love for them. The special(and huge)place in his heart was reserved for his dear bride Janice who was a pillar of stength for him and the family. Barry also proudly served his country and was an example to his fellow soldiers. We grieve with you Aunt Jan,Belinda,Caroline,Elizabeth & Sally but we are blessed to have been able to call Barry-husband,father,uncle and godfather. He walks with us and we hear his laughter, feel his strength and when we feel a nudge, crack a smile we can hear him laugh at his joke and remind us what a giant of man walked this earth and made us all better for it. With lo love Andrew & Judyth Hansen(erebus54@yahoo.com)

When I was 14, my mother June took me to Australia and I had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Barry and family for the first time. Immediately, Uncle Barry, Aunt Janice, and his wonderful family welcomed me as one of them. It's not often you see a family so close, a home full of laughter, love... Uncle Barry was the smiling, laughing, loving, jokester in the middle. When he took us into Sydney, an Asian tourist stopped Barry and asked if he would take a picture of his wife and him. Barry obliged and with a grin said, "It's a Canon, it's not going to go off and hurt anyone, is it?". The Asian, without missing a beat said, "It's not "roaded" "(loaded)... Big laughs all around. Barry had the unique gift of putting you at ease and you just couldn't help but smile in his presence. Such a very quick wit but also a very unique and genuine wisdom and caring in his answers to some more serious questions. Though my stay was short, I'll sometimes come up with a joke that's more in Barry's area of humor. I'll smile and remember Barry, in my minds eye, gently elbowing my ribs and saying "Aw come on, not a bad one is it, Peter?!?!" Aunt Janice, Belinda, Caroline, Elizabeth, and Sally, my heart goes out to you from across the seas near Chicago, IL, and the Hansen family grieves with you. Let the memories from such a unique and wonderful man who graced the presence of our lives, though 75, still too short of a time, live on and comfort you throughout your lives. With Love, Peter and Alexis Hansen (pete_hansen2001@yahoo.com)
