I've just seen in the Assisi newsletter that Barry has died, so sad, he was a great guy, he lived his life so well. I think he inspired many people with his energy and vision for a better world, and his living faith. He certainly did that for me, I met him first in India in the 80's then later when I was doing shift work in a Clayton factory he phoned and asked me to assist in creating Assisi. I was happy to join and those years whilst I worked with Barry and Valma and his Assisi clan were inspiring, so much good work got done! My apologies that I wasn't at his funeral service and my condolences to Valma and his family. John McKenzie June 2011
