Angus had a zest for life that was truly uplifting. He was a gentleman - blessed with kindness, humour, grace and intellect. Angus was a pioneering champion of Latin America in Australia. A tireless worker for a region that he loved. Truly, a 'remarkable' individual, who made the world a better place through his presence.

I was very saddened to hear of Angus' passing. I always felt happy to see and talk with him. He was an Australian pioneer on all things related to Latin America, and was passionate about developing deeper relations between Australia and that part of the world. His contribution and legacy in this area were instrumental in the progress we see today. His depth of knowledge was only matched by his genuine and authentic interest in and engagement with people. I saw him only a few months ago, impeccably turned out, full of insights about Latin America, and totally across developments in the region. A remarkable individual, who will leave a space that will be impossible to fill.

I was delighted to have the opportunity to meet Angus Bartlett-Bragg when I worked at KPMG in the 1990s. I and many others benefited from his extensive knowledge of South America. He was also an intrepid traveller and I enjoyed many conversations with him about his travels off the beaten track. I know Angus was also a committed family man and very proud of his wife and children as he often spoke of them. We also had a common point as I grew up in Black Rock and had my name down at RMGC. I am now a member and regret I never played golf with Angus there. I often think of Angus and am very sad to know of this loss. I will always remember him for the gracious and intelligent gentleman he was and I send my sympathies to Christine and family at this very sad time. Warm Regards Marjorie

The first 3 words that come to mind when I think of Angus are, Charismatic, a Gentleman and Golf. Full of witty charm, charisma, always a gentleman and the avid golfer. You will be missed but never forgotten. Our thoughts are with you and your family Christine. Your old neighbours from Black Rock, The Hoppe's
