I don't remember him very well, I only had the chance to meet him once when he was young. But I think about him all the time. I talk about him constantly. I write articles and speeches about him. I speak to his commanding officers. I once spoke to a General in Princess Pat's and he told me that Andrew's funeral moved him to tears, that he had seen officer's funerals that weren't as incredible and passionate as Andrew's. It really made me happy to hear that. I love you buddy. You finished the job.
andrew was the finest of the bunch . he always had a great attitude towards me and he helped me to overcome the bmqs . i wished i would have gotten to at least say good bye. thats what hurts the most. he was the closest thing i had to family .now im getting ready to go on my tour soon . maybe ill be with grenon soon he didnt deserve death , he was to good a person to deserve a fate like that. rest in piece bro.
Drew was more than a soldier.. he was a friend, brother, son, boyfriend. He was so proud to be all of these things, and showed that in his everyday life. He was my bestfriend, my lover, my life.. I miss you so much babies!! Forever in my thoughts, forever in my mind.. Forever in my heart. XOXOXOXO all my love.. forever and always. Krista
How sad to lose another Canadian Soldier. He served his country well. We are proud of him and sorry for his loss.
It is always tragic to hear that a hero has fallen. Andrew was a leader and friend. May his courage live on with the soldiers who are still out there in Afghanistan.
