It's been 7 years, and you are not forgotten. I was in Baghdad the day of your capture, and supported various search and rescue missions over the twelve months that followed. On this date, we found Joe, and continued our search for Alex & Byron. When it came time for me to return home, I refused to leave until I could brief someone to take over. Two weeks later they had to escort me to the plane to leave Iraq. On July 8th, the story ended, but their memories live on. I wish I could forget for my sake, but for their families’ sake, know that the story of their sacrifice will live on long after we're all gone. MSgt V, USAF
