I will always remember my mother with a great deal of affection. She was a good mother to me, Carolyn, my brother Keith and sister Jillian. She was involved with literary groups during her long life of 93 years. One was a discussion group which met every 2nd Thursday night for over 50 years, discussing topical issues and book reviews. She also attended a Leisure Learning group each week. Mum was a popular person, very outgoing and had many friends. I remember fondly our holidays together as a family staying in Blackheath in the Blue Mountains. Mum, especially enjoyed the mountains. Mum led a simple but fulfilling life and I have many photos of her to look back on and she will always be in my thoughts.

Charlie and I will always treasure our visits. He loved going to see you and would get so excited in the car and seeing everyone there at the nursing home, and sitting on your lap and at your feet. I always bathed him before our visits so he would be very soft, especially his soft velvety ears. I am so glad that Charlie's visits brought you alot of pleasure. Love, Klara
