Once in a blue moon, one comes across a most wonderful book. To me it was Man eaters of Kumaon by Jim Corbett. I stayed up all night reading it while I was still in school 50 years ago. It was so gripping, I almost felt a tiger snarling at me from behind. I was overwhelmed by Corbett's courage and his modesty in relating the ten wonderful true stories in the book. I then and there made up my mind what I wanted to be when I finished school. I became a Forester.
I would like to hear your impressions after reading a Corbett book for the first time.
