I recall how you never wanted a party , but how we would make sure you got one any way . how we would try to not to let you know what we were up to , but how I knew you knew we were planning one any how , and how you would laugh. like the year you would blow out the candles & the would relight and how you would do it again and then how you took them off the cake and put the candles in a glass of water how we all laugh, We love you and miss you very much, and Happy Bithday love ya c-ya love RObin & Travis

well it's the 4 th of July and I remember the time we made Jabco a birthday cake together and then the cook out and the all the fireworks you and Curtis did ,
I remember the year you and Curtis sent off the firework called the 2nd comeing how it turned over how we all ran to a van how we laugh when it was over but how we were scared during the time how we said we know how or why they had names that one the 2 nd comeing. Ws Love You and Miss you more & more each and every day .

It was oyur 40th Birthday and how we (Heather , Holly , and myself wanted to surprise you with a party, how we did everything over at Karens house how we put out posters for you bithday along the road we lived on how Curtis came and took you off . How you laugh at some of the candles how when it was over e all told you to wait till you turned 50. Then when your 50th birthday was approaching how you told me everyday do not do a party like I had done when you turned 40. I had to make you a promise that I would not . But it was wroth it all when you turned 40. We love you and miss love ya- see- ya Robin & Travis

The Fourth Of July

How we (Travis, grandmaw, Curtis ,Teresa, Holly , Heather & you & Me ) would take off and go to Shatley Springs, and leave there and go to Dollywood . The only place we would call ahead to was. Shatley Springs, how we sleep in the van, one night drove around the block to go get a room. How we would ride together to Shatley Spings and then how the guys would ride together when we left there how we would laugh about somethings that were done along the way to Dollywood to make you guys laugh

When Nickey took me to Charleston

We went to Charleston to see a friend of ours who ws working there. We all went out that day & we ended up at the place and nobody said a word about what was in the water. All of a sudden I told one person either there where sharkes there or dolphins there and it was dolphins. We watch them go out & come back in. I was so glad to be able to look back and have a smile on my face. We love you and miss you

My Memory of Nickey telling Meredith

I remember the day Nickey call C.L. & Sheila that we were getting married and how Meredith said "" to who Me". Then Nickey explained that to me , and there was nothing but us going to High Point so I could meet C.L. & Sheila and Meredith. I remember tell ing Nickey " you know that Meredith is not going to like me. He said "Yes she will. SO we went . We got there I know that I was check out real good by her. SHe looked at my rings after NIckey told her I collected Bears, and I still thank GOd for the Panda Bear ring . Because that was what click about Meredith and me . When it was all over with she was one of our flower girls and I think she caught the flowers I throw. We all became real close . I thank GOd for that.

I remember the evening that Nickey called to tell us ( my wife &I ) that he was getting married.My daughter asked if that was her boyfriend,i replyed yes.she wanted to talk to him.When he toled her that he was getting married,she replyed TO ME!!! this i know put a smile on this face.For she always called nickey her boyfriend. nickey had to bring robin to our house to meet meredith. we talked of this alot with smiles & laughter.
my best friend, you are gone in body but not in our hearts there you will always be.your spirt lives on in each an everyone of us who were blessed to have your friendship.

Not ever family is able to look back at the time they had together here on earth and say they have good, yes we had out down times just like every one else. Well it is May 22. 2008 and at 10.30 p.m. tonight it will be 2 mos. I remember fist thing this mor. The day we got married and how the company you worked for at the time wanted you to leave with a load that night, and how you would not go. The next mor. Curtis called us and how he got up an d fix us breakfast. HOw we went to his house and ate , got the other car and went to wash it . How we laugh thinking abouit Curtis driveing the car to his house with just married on it, and he was the only person in the car. How we laugh about that every year. We love you and miss you. It's been two mos, and 1 day today. and my heart is still broke just as bad as it was on the day it happened. I always try to think of the good memories and we had alot of them. Your son and I have talk about them off and on yesterday. The one about the pizza you took one bit out of went to bed and you both got up the day wanting that pizza. He says he can still taste that pizza. We both still love you and miss you more and more each day.
