I LOVE YOU

When someone we love suddenly passes away…
the first thing we wonder..“Why couldn’t they stay”.

But God has a special place, our eternal home…
with joy unspeakable at the foot of His throne.

Why, we ourselves would want to go…if we knew what was in store…
right across the Jordan, on heaven’s golden shore.

If our loved ones who are there…by some means we could ask,
“don’t you want to come back?...They’d say, “No way, I’m having a blast!”

Why would I want to leave a place of such pleasure?
For it’s like ending a search and finding lost treasure.

No, I’d never go back, but I’ll be waiting for you…
and I’ll be shouting “Hallelujah!” when you come into view.

Then once you get here, you won’t want to leave…
when all of these blessings at last you receive.

But I can’t tell you more, for you might want to rush…
and God has His special time for each one of us.

So for now, it’s goodbye and I’ll see you soon…
just beyond the stars, the sun and the moon.

And I’ll say “I love you”, can’t wait to see your face…
and that look of amazement …when you get a glimpse of this place.

The Cure

We think we get over things.
We don’t get over things.
Or say, we get over the measles
but not a broken heart.
We need to make that distinction.
The things that become part of our experience
Never become less a part of our experience.
How can I say it?

The way to get over a life is to die,
Short of that, you move with it,
let the pain be pain,
not in the hope that it will vanish
but in the faith that it will fit in,
find its place in the shape of things,
and be then not any less pain
but true to form.
Because anything natural has an
inherent shame and will flow towards it.
And a life is as natural as a leaf.
That’s what we’re looking for:
not the end of a thing
but the shape of it.

Wisdom is seeing the shape of your life without
obliterating, getting over a
single instant of it.

I can't believe it's already been 5 months. I miss you so much. The holiday's and family parties will never be the same, I miss you shell, there's not a day,hour,minute or second that I do not think of you. I love you very, very much..always.
