It's that time of year...

Added Jul 29, 2008 By Rachel Tilley

So, soccer would be going on EVERY day now and we would be so exhausted and hate running intervals and GT's and doing camp. You know! lol I miss those days. I was thinking about that the other day; how I HATED practicing but how spending time with all the girls and getting to play meant the world to me. I know how much it meant to you. This was your game. You were amazing. And softball was too. And Abby Wambach broke her leg so she is out of the Olympics! BUMMER! I know she was one of your fave's and you guys had the same number...I remember that conversation! haha Gosh, I hope you and that baby are well. I wish I could have gotten to meet him. Someday....

I've been having a rough time lately, and I said a prayer last night asking God to take me into his arms and just let me know that everything is going to be alright; to keep my loved ones close by in heaven and here on earth. I asked for you.. You ALWAYS made me smile and you ALWAYS made me see the brighter side of things; that the world wasn't going to end and I could pass those obstacles. I miss you. I want you here. I want Cesar Laurean to know what he has done not only to you and Gabriel, but to the World basically. Especially your loved ones. I want him to feel the pain and the suffering we are all having to deal with and most of all, we he did to you. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you or mention you. When people find out that I knew you and we were friends and knew each other for many years, they just say that they're sorry for what happened and a lot of them wish they could say they had the privelege to know you. And they always say thank you for serving our Country. You were and still are a Hero in SO many ways. I love you Maria, and I can't wait for the day I get to see you again.

To Marine Mom of the other Maria Frances:

Thank You. I have so many other kind words I would love to say that wouldn't even be enough to let you know how much it means to see that you care. And to everyone else, Thank You. I've always wanted to tell you that it is SO IRONIC that your Maria Frances has the same name and is too a Marine. To her, Thanks for serving our Country.

To Megan Lynn Touma and Holly Wimunc:

Thank you for serving as well. It is tragic what happened to both of you and I pray you get the justice that is deserved. God Bless you and your families. This is a hard time for them all. Megan, God Bless your baby as well. Maria's family is working hard to make sure things like this don't happen or are better handled.

FOR MARIA'S DEVOTED WONDERFUL FRIENDS

Added Jul 28, 2008 By Marine Mom

Rachel and all Maria's Friends. You are all so wonderful! You Rock!!! Keep Maria Frances' memory alive. My daughter, (ironically, Maria Frances) is a corporal at Camp Pendelton, San Diego. I call her all the time and I ALWAYS talk about YOUR Maria Frances!!! I hope to one day be able to rally much donation money to her athletic scholarship fund. That is a dream of mine, that I will NEVER stop dreaming. Pray Hard, semper fidelis for MARIA!

I want to know why this happens

Added Jul 6, 2008 By Crystal Potter

Who has the heart to kill a pregnant woman? Why does this happen? I really don't understand and wish that Justice would come faster to Cesear Laurean. In my opinion his capture and sentence haven't come fast enough
