My Memory

Kassie Sipes (Sep 17, 2008)

Dear Lilly,
With great sorrow, I learned that you left your loving family and friends to join your beloved Bill. The five years we were neighbors on Colonial Avenue in Westminster were great fun. We enjoyed our bridge club, parties, dinners together, events at The Riding Club, evenings at Crab Houses in Baltimore and summer vacations at the beach. Wonderful memories! I will remember always your positive outlook & enjoyment of life, your many acts of kindness and your laughter. My condolences to Bill & Barbara, Sue & Rudy, Kassie, Jennifer & Jaki.
Sincerely,
George Baker

Suzanne Mullar (Sep 25, 2008)

Thanks George for those very kind words about Mom. I, too, have many fond memories of living on Colonial Ave, those lazy days at the Riding Club pool, and being with our families at the beach. She certainly had a great sense of humor, and positive outlook on life, and that unmistakable laugh of hers will stay with me forever. Sue

Mom Had Time for Everyone

Suzanne Mullar (Sep 08, 2008)

I have so many memories of Mom leaving her backdoor open to all her friends and neighbors who may have wanted to stop by and chat. Well, it never mattered what time of day it was, or what Mom was in the middle of doing, she'd stop, sit, and talk to her friends at the kitchen table for hours if need be. She always had time for you, to listen to your problems, your concerns, your funny moments you just had to share with her. She loved to laugh, and once you got her going, you could hear my mother's laughter ring out throughout the neighborhood. Her laugh was unforgettable, and I'll always remember the joy it brought me. Your daughter, Sue

Christmas morning

Suzanne Mullar (Aug 27, 2008)

Kas, Bill and I probably have the best memory of the year when we were so excited about Christmas morning, because Kas and I wanted new two-wheel bicycles so badly, and Bill wanted a battery-operated car called a FatCAT. We could hardly sleep that night, wondering whether Santa Claus would be able to fulfill our wishes. WEll, the three of us sneaked down the stairs in wee hrs of the morning, to find two red Schwinn bicycles and a FatCAt car all sitting in front of the fireplace! My Mom and Dad worked all night putting those bikes together for the two of us in order to surprise us that morning. That is an example of the patience my parents had and the love they had for all of us throughout our lives. We love you..Sue, Kas and Bill
