A. john was part of a inner group of four close friends. there was also a outer group some of which became girlfriends & closer friends. he attended a youth club once a week & every so often a party would be thrown usally by one of the original four close friends for everyone. later on some friends lost contact but the four close friends stayed in touch & use to frequent the birchington s.c. & arrange days out together.
