David Stewart Freeman

FREEMAN, David Stewart Feb. 21, 1961 - Aug. 17, 2008 David Freeman passed away on the morning of August 17th. He was much beloved by all his family and friends and left us too soon! He was born on February 21, 1961, in Whittier, California where he lived his entire childhood. David was an Eagle Scout at the East Whittier Presbyterian Church at the impressive age at 13. He graduated from La Serna High School with numerous honors in 1979. David attended USC where he was a member of Beta Theta Pi Fraternity where he graduated on May 6, 1983, with a BA in Urban Planning. After graduation, David entered the advertising field in Orange County with Cochrane Chase Livingston. He moved to New York in 1986 to work with the international firm of Grey Advertising. After Grey, he became one of the first members of the award winning team at Kirshenbaum and Bond. David was integral in the growth of K&B into a leading innovator in the industry. Moving back to Los Angeles in 2002, he joined TBWA/Chiat/Day as the Founder and Director of The Disruption Consultancy. He was a force of imaginative change in the business. David had a passion for travel that extended to his co-authorship of the very successful publication of 100 Things To Do Before You Die. He had a rare insight into cultures around the world and always had the next trip planned. David was a resident of Venice, California, and an active participant in the community. He is predeceased by his mother, Anne Freeman; and survived by his father, Roy Freeman and his wife, Barbara Carr Freeman; his sister, Virginia Freeman Robb and her husband, Don, and their son, Owen Clay. Memories

To The Souls That Knew Me*

Pamela Saunders (Aug 19, 2008)

To the Souls that knew me
That love me and shared life with me
I give to you the FREEdom I now feel

I am home now
As I was in the home of your hearts

I didn't leave you too young
There is no time where I now live
There is only love

And I ask of you
All of you
To look at the person who sits next to you
And simply think to yourself
And speak with your eyes...
"I LOVE YOU"
And you will feel me

Love is all we have,
All we feel,
And all we are

Funny how it is all about love
And only LOVE
