My sister Dawn started dating a boy named David because Brian had cheated on her. So for my sister I befriended Brian for David. What happened next was a war he would never forgive me for and he took that to his grave. I took up for David over Brian and me and Brian got into an argument that almost lead to a fist fight in my mom's living room. Brian was so mad at me for taking up for David because Brian always took up for me all through grade school and high school. I believed that one day I would ask him to forgive me and we could put it behind us, but before I could ever have the guts to ask his forgiveness he got shot in the back in a freak hunting accident and I never got the chance to tell him How truely sorry I was for what had happened. That taught me a life lesson Never turn your back on a friend that has had your back through hell and high water....the day I saw him in his coffen was the day I ask him to forgive me and by then it was too late. If I could talk to him today I would ask him to forgive me and tell him how much I really love him and miss him being around.

Brian and I went on our first date with my sister and Anthony. I was keeping a secret from Brian, I was afraid to tell him I was a cutter. We all four got in an argument and it ended up Brian slapped me in my face as a joke, because I said I would never be with anyone that hit me. Well when we went back to my mom's I went into the bathroom and started cutting my wrist. I had thre door locked and I heard Brian asking where I was. When he knocked on the door I didn't answer him so he started jerking on the door when it came open I sit on the ground bleeding and Brian ran away from the bathroom yelling. When my mom's boyfriend, Chris, came and grabbed me I was in tears. Chris cleaned up my wrist and talked to me for a few minutes then he told me that I needed to go talk to Brian. I went out on the balcony where Brian was crying alone. I sat down beside him and he hugged me. He looked at me and said " Dawn, I Love you! please don't hurt your self ever again!" It took me by surprise I didn't know what to say. Then he asked me to make a promise to him. I said "yes, anything"....Brian made me promise never to cut my self again. I kept that promise to him even now that he is gone. Brian saved my life and that's how I know he is my Angel God sent to me. He showed me Love, he cared for me.
